The Lexington Chamber of Commerce with the generous support of Lester E. Savage Century 21/Commonwealth & Tres Petite Creperie presents Women-in-Business Series. This event series includes a segment of around-the-table introductions followed by a featured guest speaker. In addition to facilitated professional networking, the series places a particular emphasis on learning from one another and sharing work experiences in a friendly, open
environment. This event will include admission, light breakfast and coffee.
At our Sept. 12th session, we will hear remarks from Pam Vardaro Founder and Owner of Best Choice College Consulting and Kristine Porcaro, President & Co-Founder of Lexington Wealth Management .
This program will focus on “College Advising – The 2017 College Admission Process: What You Should Know”.
Pam is an Independent College Consultant advising high school students in every phase of the college application process. She previously served as the Assistant Director of College Advising at a private, competitive, independent college preparatory school with a 100% matriculation rate. She places dozens of students every year at top tier colleges.
Kristine has spent the past 20 plus years helping her clients navigate the often confusing and emotionally charged world of high net worth investing. She works directly with many clients to ensure their goals are met. Her style and results earned her recognition from Boston Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager several years now. She was also ranked as one of the Top Owned Women RIA’s for 2013, a Top Adviser by Reuters Advice Point for 2008, and as one of WORTH magazine’s Top 250 Wealth Advisors in 2008. Most recently, she was named on the Honorable Mention List of top Women-Led Businesses in Massachusetts.
They will discuss the factors affecting the college and financial aid process. Pam will also discuss the steps she takes when working with students.
