Please join us for an open house marking the end of the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library's 50th anniversary celebration! Visit exhibitions that examine the museum’s collection over the past 50 years and Lexington’s role in the American Revolution, see a replica of the cannon Henry Knox brought from Ticonderoga to Dorchester on loan from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, welcome ultra runner Patrick Atkinson as he arrives in Lexington at the conclusion of his 333-mile Revolutionary Run from Delaware to Massachusetts, witness the burial of a time capsule for 2075, and more. Help us celebrate the end of our 50th anniversary year and look ahead to the next 50 years! Program for the Day (join us at any time): 10AM-3PM, Open House 11AM, Time Capsule Ceremony Come see our 50th anniversary time capsule buried—not to be opened until 2075! 12PM, Celebrate the Revolutionary Run Welcome ultramarathoner Patrick Atkinson as he concludes his 333 mile run from Wilmington, DE to Lexington, MA 2PM, Noble Train of Artillery Encampment and Ceremonial Entrustment of the Hamilton 250 Cannon Plus, “FOR LOVE! FOR LIBERTY!” A musical about Henry Knox. Performances at 4PM and 7PM. Tickets required.
