Lexington Symphony presents its popular annual "Music from the Movies" concert. Exploring the vital role that music plays in setting the scene and telling a story via the medium of film, this special performance will feature some of the best film scores ever written for the big screen, including Suite from Jaws, The Raider's March (The Indiana Jones theme), Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Schindler's List Suite by John Williams; Alan Silvestri's Back to the Future; and Vangelis Papathanassiou's Chariots of Fire, among others. A pre-concert Conductor's Talk with Music Director Jonathan McPhee titled "Imagine Movies Without Music" will be offered at 7:00 p.m.
