LexMedia is hosting its popular kids filmmaking class again this August.
Similar to last year, students will showcase their imagination by creating a short film that will be shown to family and friends at the end of the week. Under the guidance of our skilled staff, students will learn the basics of acting, improvisation, and camera skills in order to bring their visions to life both during the class and in future endeavors. The action-packed week cultivates the students' creativity in a positive environment and allows them to explore their creative potential. The culmination of their effort premieres at a celebratory party with family, friends, and popcorn! As part of the class, every child will learn about a Sony PXW x70 camera, tripods, boom mics, lighting, the green screen, as well as Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro editing software. There will also be an opportunity for them to create their own project, either solo or with other campers.
The class runs from Monday, August 10th to Friday, August 14th from 10:00am (drop-off as early as 9:00am) to 3:00pm.
