DESCRIPTION:The Lexington Chamber of Commerce with the generous support of Lester E. Savage Century 21/Commonwealth \, Tres Petite Creperie & Youville Place presents Women-in-Business Series.  This event series includes a segment of around-the-table introductions followed by a featured guest speaker.  In addition to facilitated professional networking\, the series places a particular emphasis on learning from one another and sharing work experiences in a friendly\, open environment. This event will include admission\, lunch and coffee.\n\nAt our December 12th session\, we will hear remarks from Amy Roberts\, founder and owner of Out of the Box Moves.\n\n          \n\nOut of The Box Moves\, is a move management company assisting senior's move from one home to \n\nanother.   With over 19 years of experience working in the senior industry\, Amy understands all aspects of transitioning from a life long home to a new residence.  She will share with you her passion for seniors and how her company began. \n\n \n\nDuring college Amy did an internship at a retirement community\, even though her plan was to eventually work with children.  Amy Studied psychology and sociology and was planning on working with autistic children after graduation.  She worked for the Higashi school for almost a year and then realized her passion was really with seniors.  She started her senior career at Youville Place\, working in the\n\nprograms department\, then worked as a marketing director for another community before she started as a move manager over 11 years ago.
