DESCRIPTION:The Lexington Chamber of Commerce with the generous support of Cambridge Savings Bank presents Women-in-Business Series.  This event series includes a segment of around-the-table introductions followed by a featured guest speaker.  In addition to facilitated professional networking\, the series places a particular emphasis on learning from one another and sharing work experiences in a friendly\, open environment. This event will include admission\, light breakfast and coffee. \n\n \n\n \n\nAt our October 6th session\, we will hear remarks from Dr. Mary A. Czajkowski\, the Superintendent of Lexington Public Schools.\n\n \n\nDr. Czajkowski has served as Superintendent of Schools in Lexington since July 2015. Before her arrival in Lexington\, she served as Superintendent of Schools in Barnstable for four years. Prior to Barnstable\, she served as Superintendent of Schools in Agawam for nine years and was Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction there for four years. Dr. Czajkowski's career began teaching high school science\, math\, and physical education for sixteen years.\n\n \n\nAmong her appointments at the state education level\, Dr. Czajkowski has served on the Educator Evaluation Task Force\, the Educational Personnel Advisory Council\, the Performance Assessment for Leaders Committee and the Education Data Advisory Committee. Dr. Czajkowski also played a central role in the development of MASS's Superintendent's Advisory Committee to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and is currently a member. Most recently\, Dr. Czajkowski was a member of Governor Patrick's Task Force on School Safety and Security.
