DESCRIPTION:In April 2026\, Patrick Atkinson\, a Scottish Rite Mason from Delaware\, will lace up his running shoes and set out on a monumental journey\, running from Wilmington\, Delaware\, to Lexington\, Massachusetts. This isn't just a physical test of endurance. It's a fundraiser to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Scottish Rite Masonic Museum & Library\, and a tribute to the role many Freemasons played in the American Revolution\, 250 years ago. Patrick\, an experienced long-distance runner\, will run 333 miles over 8 days. His route will take him through many areas that witnessed historic events during the American Revolution. Patrick is undertaking this extraordinary journey\, running 50-60 miles a day\, to raise awareness about the museum\, to mark the events surrounding the founding of the United States and most importantly to connect with people\, history\, and Freemasons along the way.
